EUROTOPIA 2100 - An Interactive Utopia
“EUROTOPIA 2100: An Interactive Utopia" is part of the activities of the research project "Literary Utopias and Utopian Thought: Portuguese Culture and the Western Intellectual Tradition III", hosted by the Instituto de Literatura Comparada Margarida Losa of the Faculdade de Letras da Universidade do Porto and funded by the Fundação para a Ciência e a Tecnologia (PTDC/ELT/67788/2006). It is also supported by the Utopian Studies Society/Europe and the Reitoria da Universidade do Porto, in addition to other partners.
In a world of rapid change and controversial issues, "EUROTOPIA 2100: An Interactive Utopia" provides a forum for reflection on the future of Europe, by opening a window on the year 2100, a date distant enough so that plans could be drawn up, solutions devised and dreams fulfilled.
In this sense, "EUROTOPIA 2100: An Interactive Utopia" welcomes either a global vision of the future of Europe, to be published in the category of Utopias, or specific views to be collected in the category of Visions of the Future.
